The Stunningly Beautiful "B" Family
I can't help but love this adorable family... the girls of course liked best to smile at me when I didn't have a big black camera in front of my face, but we managed to get them to relax enough for a few grins to show up.
Little kids are tons of fun, they are growing and changing so much so very quickly! Big sister here is right at the age where she has learned how to smile even if she doesn't have an emotional reason for it- but because it's a "camera" smile, it is of course unnatural since she is still learning what the inside of her face needs to feel like to make the smile appear- it is very confusing to be so young! Nonetheless, she is ADORABLE!
Aren't they just adorable all together?
Little sister still needs an emotional reason to make any smile happen- and we managed to be just enough fun to weasel some out of her, isn't she just precious?!
and last but most important: Mom and Dad, who made this precious family happen! Thanks for a fantastic afternoon :)

Summer Tea
I was privileged to get to take the portraits of ladies enjoying a Jane Austen themed Afternoon tea. It was a beautiful afternoon, and the entire event was graceful and peaceful, it was perfect!
It was a delightful group of sisters and friends, all united in their love for the written word of Jane Austen

April Showers... or was that Sunshine?
April is supposed to be a month full of rain and general dreariness that brings that lovely growing things in May... but we got a sneak peak, several of April's weekends showed up drenched in sunshine. But that doesn't mean there wasn't any water. Rock the Shot is having a little water competition and I thought that miss Aymee's fun Senior session would make a good offering. Make sure to Check out Rock the Shot! for some inexplicable reason, my link isn't working, so go to your favorite web browser and type in www.rocktheshotforum.com :)

This Girl is Graduating!
Meet Aymee, this cool Californian decided to do her Senior Photos while visiting family in Washington so her pics would be different than all the other's around town, she had the perfect personality to make a splash.
We were both thankful that it wasn't raining, and thrilled that there was sunshine. The whole session was so much fun, I hope all my seniors are this cool :)
Enjoy these shots from her spectacular session, and feel free to contact me for all your photographic needs.

On a bridge in Orting
Last fall I had the opportunity to photograph the darling "M" family and we used 2 locations, one being a bridge that I simply fell in love with, since that first time I used it, I haven't seen it open- there gate is now always closed without any other close parking. I was totally bummed. So I did a bit of scouting and came up with a new bridge, and I love it too! I took a willing model out to the bridge for some test shots and I love the outcome. This is my sister Julie, and she and I had a lot of fun with this little session. I hope you enjoy the pictures, and don't forget to contact me if you want photos!

The Adorable "S" kids
These two were so much fun. We spent the afternoon running around a local pumpkin patch, while the kids explored and had fun, I chased them and did my best to capture them in their element. My favorite part was when the pretty little lady went tearing through mud puddles just as we were finishing.

This is Tom
He is a fantastic musician and wanted photos that could be used for album art, I had such a wonderful time listening to him play, I really enjoy the bond between a musician and their instrument, and this was no exception. We had a good time at R.A Long High School taking advantage of the fantastic architecture for this.

The Magical World
For a family vacation we went to California to visit my aunt and grandma and of course we spent some time at the Happiest place on Earth with the kids. My little man LOVED it, and we loved watching him enjoy it :) The weather was delightful (not being Washington) and I had so much fun cataloging it in my camera.

The lovely "M" Family
We took inspiration from the beautiful fall colors to set the tone for this family's photos. The kids were so cute and the little man loved striking a sassy pose whenever I caught him in the lens. The whole family was fun to work with and I am so glad I can call them friends :)

just a glimpse
from last fall. This is my sweet daughter just as she was learning to stand and we were getting some fresh air out in the yard.
I hope you enjoy little snapshots of my recent work as I attempt to share what has been going on since the terrible lapse in my blogging.
